5. What was the original idea behind the event?

This is the inaugural Scottish Cycling, Running and Outdoor Pursuits Show. With cycling and running playing such a predominant role in so many people’s lives, it made sense to bring everything the enthusiast would want and need under one roof – big brands, latest equipment, hands on attractions.

1. Tell us about some of the activities that will be on offer at this year’s event?

Over three fun-packed days, the show will have a host of interactive attractions for the whole family including  a mini veldodrome, mountain bike track, indoor running track and segway and triathlon challenges to name but a few.  

On top of that there’s also a show theatre where experts will offer live demonstrations, coaching and training advice as well as a bespoke kids’ cycle area: this show really is hands on and caters to every experience level making it an ideal day out for the whole family.
