What do you love most about your lifestyle?

I love that I’m learning new things every day. I’m constantly finding myself in new situations and finding new solutions as things pop up.

What has been the highlight in your career to date?

I don’t know if this is a ‘highlight’ but I’m very thankful to be where I am right now. I love producing House Hunters and the fact that I’m able to pick and choose to work on other projects that I’m passionate about as well. I’m in a very good spot career-wise at the moment.

If you could accomplish one thing in the next five years what would that be?

I want to eventually get back into producing travel shows and documentaries.

Who’s your favourite actor?

Leonardo Di Caprio (sorry, not sorry).

And musician/band?

It changes all the time but Bob Marley is always on the list.

What’s your biggest regret?

#noregrets. But seriously, they’re a waste of time. Make mistakes, learn and move on.

If you could choose to travel to any country in the world right now what country would you choose?

Peru to explore the Peruvian rainforest.

Where’s your favourite place to relax?

Anywhere on a blanket in the sunshine.

Do you have or would you get a tattoo?

Don’t have one, don’t think I’ll ever get one.

What’s your best characteristic?

Relentlessly optimistic.

And your most unappealing habit?

Probably the fact that I’m relentlessly optimistic, haha – I could see that as annoying to some people.

If you could order any three-course meal what would that meal be?

Anything from Real Food Daily or M Cafe in LA.

If you had to get stuck in an elevator with someone who would that person be?

Anthony Bourdain (Parts Unknown) or Shane Smith (VICE).

What’s your most used curse word?

I’m an equal opportunity curser.

What are you most afraid of?

Fear, like regrets, is pointless.

When are you happiest?

Walking to a cafe by my apartment, going for a run at night, hanging out with my boyfriend on a lazy Sunday… Of course, still things like exploring new countries and taking trips but there’s a balance to that I’ve found.

What’s been your scariest travel moment?

Getting pepper sprayed in Turkey and chased by the police at the Taksim Square protests, losing my dive buddy and getting tangled in kelp while scuba diving, having to cut a spreading infection out of my own leg in Thailand – probably my top three Most Not Awesome moments while travelling but they all turned out okay.

Which person person in the world inspires you the most?

Not a person but an action… People who stand up for what’s right and for the truth regardless of the consequences are incredibly inspiring to me.
